The Centrist - An Introduction

Updated: Feb 16, 2022

Lets get the introductions underway!

I am a Libertarian-Centrist in essentially all things; from politics, to religion and philosophy, even science. While I attempt to have the least bias to any one school of thought, I often play "Devils Advocate" and attempt to see both sides of any one issue. (Or multiple, reality isn't "black & white".)

How can you be a centrist in all of those things you may ask? Easy!

Get rid of your ego, you know, that thing Sigmund Freud talked about years ago - that thing that tells you, "I am right & everyone else is wrong". Both left and right ideologies, in fact; any ideology other than Taoism has expressly biased views of all things. While this is great for being able to gather into ideological groups so you can conform or otherwise be with people who think like you do, it doesn't offer anything but ego building and reinforcement of an otherwise biased belief.

This is a subject in-and-of its own, so hopefully the reader can discern for themselves, the greater implication of a cyclically reinforced bias.

With this basic understanding of bias and ego, you should be able to understand the point I am making about how centrist thought is a matter of acknowledging those biases, not doing so is an often flawed reinforcement cycle that is detrimental to any ideology.

Let me explain an example using recent-history and current events to show how these political ideologies change based on conformism & personal bias:

Leftism in the Early 1960s - Late 1990s was antigovernmental; they were against any establishment that took away peoples rights and freedoms; I don't use liberal vs republican, because republicans also want liberty, liberal as a definition is not leftism, leftism used the word Liberal in the past because that is what they were, now they are not. leftism since the early 2010s has been the antithesis of "liberal" and everything else they were. In todays age, leftism is synonymous with government overreach, cancel culture and forced cultural manipulation and indoctrination. (A reoccurring trend with modern leftism.)

Most modern day republicans accept the beliefs of leftist when it comes to personal liberties, however they are conservative in their beliefs, they are against forcing beliefs on children and easily influenced adults (Unless of course it has to do with religion). This was true until maybe the 1980s, before then, most republicans were vehemently anti-LGBTQ or otherwise, extremely religious. Though leftists will get angry at a Christian because they don't agree with gays or trans, meanwhile in the same breath, leftists will support Muslims patriarchal, abusive, sexist, homophobic and racist beliefs. Republicans or otherwise conservative people say, being gay is wrong, that it is a choice, just like being trans is a choice, just like being a pedophile is a choice. Modern leftism believes that being gay is natural, that being trans is normal, that being a pedophile is normal and that none of those people have a choice in their actions, decisions or natures. (By definition if you have no self-control, you are crazy. Imagine a pedophile or murderer saying "it wasn't my choice, it's just who I am", does that make them right?)

This comes back to the age old "nature vs nurture" argument; chemical imbalance during birth? Child-abuse? Other Freudian concepts that dictate the developmental growth of children?

I used to call myself a "leftist" because I thought it was synonymous with liberal, the definition of liberty and freedom, that was until I was twenty-four, by this time I had been waist deep in leftist social media pages, forums, groups and volunteer organizations; I even started a Facebook page called Unified Earth. I was 100% behind what I thought was the NWO or New World Order, the issue I found, is that the New World Order happened long ago. This can be seen with current buzzwords such as The Great Reset or One World Order, while some of those reading may consider those to be conspiracy buzzwords, the worlds leftist government leaders have all outright used those words in public speeches.

While I could continue explaining the finer points of centrist thought to my readers, I will continue writing about each part individually; I hope this short introduction will help readers understand my beliefs and centrism in general, better.

In summary: Both left and right ideologies have valid points, nobody should simply "choose a side" because they want to fit in or be accepted. Modern leftism is not "liberal", modern leftism is the antithesis of the definition of "liberal". Rightism is flawed because it is no longer defined in modern times, conservatives and right wing thinkers believe in liberty, that people have the right to make their own choices, they may not support them, they still believe in their right to think or believe what they want. Modern leftism is atheist, hedonistic, egotistical and controlled entirely by the media. Modern leftism is synonymous with socialism, authoritarianism or, complete anarchy if authoritarianism doesn't work. Modern leftists stand for literally everything ancient texts and Bibles warned humanity about, from the mark of the beast, which includes, forced mandates, QR codes to buy & sell, unable to worship, unable to travel without the number/QR code... Lets end this post with some quotes;

Verses 16–17
16 He causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 so that no one may buy or sell, except he who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name.
The mark of the beast seems to be 'a parody of God's seal of ownership on the foreheads of faithful Christians' (7:3; 14:1). The reference to "buying and selling" may reflect the fact that 'it was particularly in order to participate in the business life of the cities that Christians were tempted to compromise with idolatry'.
Verse 18
Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man:

Simply said - Mankind will do this, not some devil or other being, people will do this. Those who have "wisdom" will be able to "calculate" or discern the truth.

Those without wisdom will take the number of the beast, they will willingly accept the number of the beast.
